4.1 Who can participate?

4.3 How much money do you have to raise?
There's no minimum (or maximum!) fundraising target. Every pound helps, and because we're a volunteer-run charity, the money you raise goes directly to supporting local young people in sport, music and the arts.
4.4 Is there an age limit for participating in the September challenge?
There's no upper age limit. Under-18s are very welcome but must have permission from a parent or guardian. Please choose an appropriate challenge and ensure it is safely supervised.
4.5 How do I set up my JustGiving link?
- Go to the campaign page:
https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/travers-challenge2026 - Click Start fundraising.
- Follow the steps to create your page and personalise your story.
- Share your page link with friends, family, colleagues and on social media.
4.6 Can I collect money in cash?
We'd prefer you don't collect cash. To keep things simple, secure and transparent, we ask that all donations be made online via your JustGiving page for The Travers Challenge. If someone offers you cash, please encourage them to donate directly through your JustGiving link.
4.7 When does the fundraising begin and end?
The Travers Challenge JustGiving campaign page is open from 1 January to 31 October.
- You can set up your page and start fundraising any time from 1 January.
- The main challenge month is September.
- Donations are encouraged before September (to build momentum) and after you complete your challenge, through the end of October.
