The William Sharman Podcast for The Travers Foundation
Featuring Kian Saville
William Sharman hosts this Podcast for The Travers Foundation by chatting with Kian Saville, Para Swimmer funded by The Travers Foundation.
Kian Saville is a Para Swimmer, Coach and British competitor. Kian was born partially sighted and had major heart surgery at two years old. In 2011 he was diagnosed with a rare condition called neurofibromatosis type two.
Kian explains how he uses positive affirmation to motivate himself to compete at the highest level and coaching up-and-coming swimmers while having regular chemotherapy treatments.
"The Travers Foundation has been so good for me and other up-and-coming athletes. They help with funding so I can concentrate on training, coaching and competing and not rely on Mom and Dad."
