RYAN LEDER, in his own words
Playwrite and Producer since 2017

"The biggest challenge a Playwright faces is raising “seed funding”. That’s the first money given to a project which is then match-funded by organisations such as Arts Council England to create a production’s full budget.
In the early stages of an artist’s career, seed funding demonstrates belief in an artist and makes further funding more likely.
Quite simply, it’s the difference between a successful project and not.
Since 2017 The Travers Foundation has supported me in making two national touring theatre productions, “Numbered Days” and “Loop”, plus a professional production for the Royal & Derngate locally in Northampton, “60 Miles by Road and Rail”.
I have also received professional mentorship and coaching at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
None of this would not have been possible without financial support from The Travers Foundation."
