TOM HATTEE, in his own words
Tri-Athlete, Coaching and Competition support since 2018
"In 2018 was part of the East Midlands regional academy and racing regionally.
In 2019 I won the Interregional Championship for the TS3 age group. In 2020 COVID meant I could only train and not race. In 2021 I was injured but still managed to finish 2nd Youth B in the Junior Super Series National events and made the ENG squad."

Major Disappointment
"I qualified for the World Junior Triathlon in Montreal in June 2022. However, this ended in disappointment due to a bike mechanical, stopping me from finishing."
Major Achievement
"I was selected to race a number of European Cup races in 2022 with my best finish 6th in Bled Slovenia racing with top quality athletes."

My message to The Travers Foundation
"Since 2018, with the support of the Travers Foundation, I have competed in the National triathlon super series events from youth to now Junior level. These competitions are all over the UK.
I have been selected for the ENG squad (England Next Generation), which means I can train with the best in Triathlon.
The Travers Foundation has helped me access this world-class training. As a result I was selected to race at the European and World level in the 2022 season. These European races are expensive and have been invaluable in my triathlon learning journey.
The contribution from The Foundation has meant that I could compete at a World level. You have greatly impacted my success."
