TRAVERS FOUNDATION EVENT AT BARNSDALE LODGE HOTEL
Local charity The Travers Foundation is delighted to announce that its mid-Summer Ball - taking place on 25th June at Barnsdale Lodge Hotel - is being sponsored by Electrical Compliance & Safety Ltd (ECS).
Corby-based ECS Ltd are experts in electrical compliance, project management and installation. Peter McGowan, Managing Director, said:
"We at ECS Ltd are pleased to be sponsoring this year's Travers Foundation Mid-Summer Ball. We are a local company, and it's great to be able to give something back to a fantastic charity which is helping youngsters in our local community."
The Travers Foundation is a Northamptonshire-based charity which helps 13 to 30 year olds living in Northamptonshire, Rutland or Leicestershire improve their skills in sports, the creative arts and the performing arts.
Recent recipients of support include Olympic-hopeful Lucy Hatton, Corby Athletics' rising star long-distance runner Isaac Akers, The Corby Cube Core Dancers and Actors, local filmmaker Kayleigh O'Connor, singer and actress Meg Lyons, golfer Ryan Evans, tennis player Joe Tyler, and singers Vicki-Louise Sherwin, Charlie Botting and Kara Hamer.
The black-tie dinner will feature performances by The Top Banana Band playing their mix of funk, soul and blues and there will be a Charity Auction with prizes donated by Barnsdale Lodge Hotel, Coca Cola Enterprises, Olympic athlete and Foundation Trustee William Sharman, Silverstone Racing Circuit, golfer Ryan Evans, Philip Day, Steve Farr, Rab Fernie, David Hall, Jane Harrison, Diane Masters, Rob Sutton and Gary Tait.
