The Travers Foundation are looking for talented and ambitious young musicians who want to perform live.
Musicians with good vocal and musical ability now have the chance of creating a live video performance to promote their talent to help them to get more live gigs.
TraversTV Live Video Recording is open to bands, singing groups and solo artists between the ages of 13 and 30 who live in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, or Rutland.
TraversTV is run by The Travers Foundation, a local volunteer-run charity. They make a real difference through giving financial support to local 13 to 30-year-olds in the region to help them realise their dreams in sport, music, and the arts.
Terry Forsey, Chairman of the Travers Foundation said “Local Young Musicians can apply for a live video recording funded by The Travers Foundation and hosted on www.traverstv.live. This can become your promotional video to help you get more gigs. To help us assess your ability we ask that your application is supported by a brief unedited audition video no longer than ten minutes.”
Terry added “These audition videos do not need to be of a professional standard, a home phone video will be sufficient. What is important is that they are live and unedited and consist of 1 or 2 track to showcase your talent.”
The Travers Foundation will supply PA, Mics, lighting, and cameras. The Travers Foundation cover all the costs for recording, editing, and publishing your video. The value of this session is £750, and everything is funded by The Travers Foundation.
Musicians under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
