MEG LYONS - ACTRESS, SINGER, FUTURE STAR
With funding from local charity The Travers Foundation, local girl Meg Lyons headed to Los Angeles to study a masterclass at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute of method acting in Los Angeles.
Former students of Lee Strasberg include James Dean, Paul Newman and Jane Fonda, and Lee is quoted as saying: "We cannot give you talent, but we are going to force you to live up to the talent that you have."
The course took place in August, and Meg found the experience unforgettable.
Meg said:
"I'm very grateful to my friends and family and The Travers Foundation for all the support they've given me over the years. Studying at Lee Strasberg was amazing and I learnt so much in such a short time."
Terry Forsey of The Travers Foundation said:
