Ryan Evans continues with his successful trip to Australia by scoring a two shot victory at the Lake Macquarie Amateur Championship at the Belmont Golf Club near Newcastle in New South Wales.
Ryan added this victory to his top ten finish in the Amateurs at Royal Melbourne and as course record breaker and medalist winner in the 36-hole qualifying Australian Amateur Championship.
Ryan who received Tournament Support from the Travers Foundation in 2013 said “I am so proud to represent England. I came to Australia to build on my UK tournament wins last year and am delighted to claim this victory at Lake Macquarie. Thank you to The Travers Foundation and everyone at home for supporting me. I am now off to the Royal Sydney Golf Club to play in the New South Wales Amateur Championship"
