Now a firm fixture for cyclists, The Gretton Charity Sportive is back for 2021 on Saturday 12th June and promises to be bigger than ever!
Recognising the increased number of people who have discovered cycling in the past year, organisers Wild Dog Events have added a 3rd distance to open up the popular event to more riders who want to enjoy the beautiful countryside and fantastic views of the Welland Valley.
As always, cyclists will be very well catered for whether they choose to ride the 20km, 50km or 100km route – there will be well-stocked feed stations including one at the popular cycling café Spokes, a sweeper van, finishers medals and barbecue and bar at the finish line.
As in previous years, all profits from The Gretton Charity Sportive will go to The Travers Foundation.
Book before the 5 April 2021 at wilddogevents.com to benefit from the early bird discount.
Bruce Donald, Trustee of The Travers Foundation and Director of Wild Dog Events says: ‘We’re delighted to be running this popular cycling event again, now in its third year. We want to support the fantastic work of The Travers Foundation in giving young people the opportunity to excel and this fits with our ethos of helping people to realise their full potential.’
