 William Roberts, member of TeamGB World DSISO Swimming Champions | The Down Syndrome International Swimming Organisation (DSISO) World Championships was recently held in Portugal. Twenty three countries and 163 swimmers took part in a most exciting competition over 5 days. The Travers Foundation are proud to have helped William Roberts, 23, from Warmington, Northamptonshire who won one silver and two bronze medals. - Silver 4 x 200m freestyle relay - Bronze in 4 x 50m freestyle relay - Bronze in 4 x 100m freestyle relay Also TeamGB were the overall winners and World Champions.
