Northamptonshire based charity The Travers Foundation is launching “The Coaching Programme” in February 2014, one in a series of 4 funding schemes.
“The Coaching Programme” can help young actors, dancers, singers, artists and sports stars of the future, who are just starting out or who have already achieved some success but now need a helping hand to improve. The fund can help cover the cost of coaching and professional support. The fund is open to individuals or groups aged 18-30 living in Northamptonshire, Rutland or Leicestershire.
Local Wellingborough golfer Ryan Evans received support from the Travers Foundation in 2013. An amateur golfer, the Travers Foundation supported him on the road to representing England in the Australian Amateur Golf Championship.
Speaking of his recent success Ryan said, “Thank you to The Travers Foundation and everyone at home for supporting me. I am so proud to represent England. I came to Australia to build on my UK tournament wins last year and am delighted to claim this victory at Lake Macquarie.”
The Coaching Programme is now open for applications at www.travers-foundation.org.uk . The deadline for submission is 31st March 2014 and the successful candidates will be notified by the end of April 2014.
